I have 32 years of experience in this office and since January 2005 I’ve served as your Assessor/County Clerk/Recorder. I’m proud of the job our office has done in providing outstanding service to you – our customers.
During the past two years we have seen the profound impact of the real estate crisis on the value of our homes. To meet this crisis we have taken an independent and proactive approach to providing temporary value declines under Proposition 8. We have public service offices located throughout the county, a 24-hour automated telephone system and an interactive website.
Riverside has been my home for over 40 years. After serving a year in Viet Nam with the United States Air Force, I obtained a B.A. Degree from California State University San Bernardino. I am a graduate of Leadership Riverside and the Riverside County Leadership Initiative.
I am active in several professional and civic organizations including California Assessors’ Association, California Recorder’s Association, Chamber of Commerce, Salute to Veterans Parade Committee, and Grace Community Church. My wife Nora and I have four children and 2 granddaughters.
